東京生まれ。日本女子大学卒業。1989年アルペンスキー世界選手権（Vail, USA）をきっかけに本格的にスキー写真を撮り始める。以後、毎年スキーワールドカップを取材。冬季オリンピック、世界選手権などのスキーの大会をはじめ、子供からデモンストレーターなどと一緒に様々なスキーシーンを撮影。自然の中でのアウトドアスポーツ、またはダンスなど動きのある被写体を中心に撮影している。

Born in Tokyo and graduated from Japan Women’s University. Started taking ski photography professionally since the 1989 Alpine Ski World Cup in Vail, USA. Covers every ski world cup since. Disciplines include various ski scenes with kids and demonstrators to Winter Olympics, ski world cup, and other competitions. Main focus is on outdoor sports and dynamic photography such as dance.
