Bernd Greber

オーストリア国家検定スキー教師、同アルペントレーナー、同山岳ガイド

1965年8月26日、オーストリア・メラウに生まれる。幼少よりスキーをはじめ、アルペンレーサーとして活躍。19歳で怪我によりレース生活にピリオドを打ち、スキー教師生活をスタート。以後オーストリア国立スキー学校の国家検定スキーヤー養成教官として10数年のキャリアをつむ。様々な大会などで、数々の輝かしい実績を残し、世界を駆けまわりながらオーストリアスキーの伝道者として活躍。 2001年、不慮の雪崩事故で他界。 オーストリアのみならず、日本やオーストラリアを中心に、世界中のスキーヤーにスキーの魅力を伝え続けてきた伝説のスキーヤー。

Bernd was born in Mellau, Austria on August 26, 1965. He started skiing as a child, actively participating in alpine-ski races. His ski instructor career began when his racing days were brought to an end at the age of nineteen. He then proceeded to accumulate over 10 years of experience as an educator of national ski instructor at St. Christoph. He received many accolades during his career, and traveled across the glove actively working as a missionary of Austrian ski techniques. He was tragically lost in an avalanche in 2001. He was a legendary skier who spread the joy of the sport to skiers not only in Austria and Japan, but throughout the world.
